What is a Molecule?
Definition of a Molecule:
A molecule is formed when two or more atoms chemically bond together. It is the smallest unit of a compound or element that retains its chemical properties.
Types of Molecules:
A. Molecules of Elements
These contain atoms of the same element bonded together.
Examples:
Oxygen (O₂)
Nitrogen (N₂)
Chlorine (Cl₂)

B. Molecules of Compounds
These contain atoms of different elements bonded together.
Examples:
Water (H₂O)
Carbon Dioxide (CO₂)
Ammonia (NH₃)
