I have done my Engineering in the Branch of Computer Science and got passed out in the year 2014 from ABC College (Name not Disclosed). We had a Campus Drive of Accenture, Wipro, Mahindra, TCS, Cognizant and some of the most reputed companies in our college. I sat in all the interviews and got REJECTION. I was totally out of my mind as I had been rejected in 19 Companies. But there is a saying that “Stepping Stones are Pillars to Success”. Keeping that in mind I continued, prepared myself and compiled all the mistakes which had happened to me in the last 19 Interviews. So here I am going to share all the questions which have been asked and are generally asked in every Interviews. I am doing so because I don’t want you to commit the mistake which I had done because One mistake you do and you are out of the Game. Q 1. Tell me about Yourself?
Ans. Hi, my name is Ravi Bansal. I have done my B.Tech in the Branch of Computer Science from ABC University. As my roots are from Chandigarh, so I completed my 12th from ABC School with 87%. I have also pursued JAVA & PHP certification from MNO Institute.
I have done my Internship in XYZ software where I got a good taste of the corporate world and was able to contribute with my testing skills.
Because of my strong commitment and Interpersonal skills, I was the Captain of my College Cricket Team and had participated in the various debate.
Q 2. Why should we hire you for this position?
Ans. Since this position involves interaction with customers as well as an engineering team, my passion for development projects is evident from my choice of engineering as a career. I have also done an internship with ABC software and I am having the knowledge of JAVA & C++. My people skills combined with decision-making ability will certainly add value to this position.
Q 3. What are your strengths?
Ans. Communication skill is one of my strength as I work well with different kind of people and understand different perspectives of everyone. Apart from that, I am determined, hard worker and active team player / One of my most important strength including commitment as I always ensure meeting my deadlines and work consistently towards my goals. My other strengths include positive thinking, punctuality, and interpersonal skills.
Q 4. Tell me about your weakness?
Ans. I had a habit of procrastinating, now I am improving and becoming more organized by using to do lists and reminders.

Ans. I always wanted to work with a company which recognizes talent, as I want to grow and contributes towards the growth of the company with my talent and organizational skills. Looking at the growth trend of your company from past 5 years, it will be an honor to work with such an organization.

Ans. Because of my leadership qualities and skills, I was chosen as captain of college basketball team and as I am fond of saying update with current affairs, it made me win state level quiz competition.

Ans. I look for opportunities that enable me to grow as professional and help me serving the organization / I look for challenges which can bring best out of me and a scope to gain knowledge which enables me to advance in my career.
Q 8. What are your Career Goals?
Ans. My career goals include consistency adding value to myself through learning and upgrading skills. In the long term, I would like to grow as a leader and make myself capable of taking up management positions while contributing significantly to the growth of my organization.
Q 9. Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?
Ans. My first and foremost aim is to learn new skills and enhance my personality. Five years down that line, I see myself at senior positions taking more responsibilities and contributing to the growth of a reputed organization like yours.
Q 10. What challenges you faced as a student and how you faced them?
Ans. Since we only grow when we face challenges. So I valued each challenge in my life. I always had a problem coping with the subject of Physics, but I don’t want this to affect my result so I learned time management to ensure extra career prospects and the time to be spent on same. I went back to basics and sought help from my teachers and friends and as a result, I scored 86% in Finals.
Q 11. What type of salary do you expect for this job?
Ans. As a fresher, learning is more important than earning, so my main focus is to gain knowledge and I do trust that the company pay will be inconsistent to the market.
Q 12. Give me an example of your leadership?
Ans. I successfully led the event of the management team in our college tech fest. I was able to take everyone along while handling challenges and taking collective actions. It was a successful event and our team was appreciated by everyone.
Q 13. Why did you choose a career in this field?
Ans. I was always interested in knowing the other side of any product right from my schooling. And while doing my career research, I explored various career opportunities and discussed with teachers. These influences led me to choose MBA as a course and marketing as my specialization.
Q 14. What if I say that you are rejected?
Ans. Though I prepared well and performed my level best. But if I am rejected, I will try to see opportunity learning behind it. I will evaluate myself further to make myself worth for positions like this.
Q 15. Describe ideal working environment for you in an organization?
Ans. Since modern workplace is more dynamic, one should be able to excel in diverse environments. I am more productive in an environment that has good communication and great teamwork. So I believe that it will be the ideal working environment for me.
Q 16. How do you know that we emphasize on team building?
Ans. I went to your company website and Facebook pages while doing the organization research. I noticed a lot of team building activities taking place while top management equality involved in the team.
Q 17. What kind of people do you find difficult to work with?
Ans. Though I am a flexible kind of person with all sort of people as I believe everyone has his or her own way of perceiving things. At times, people who do not stay by their commitments are tough to deal with, but I always try to find better ways to ensure that deadlines are met without any personal disagreement.
Q 18. What makes a true manager?
Ans. A true manager is someone who can guide and direct an entire team in a result oriented business environment. They understand how to motivate, delegate and follow up, to get the jobs done. They are having a clear perception of what it is that they want and how to deliver to meet and exceed expectations.
Q 19. Have you ver failed in any of your decision? Explain How & Why?
Ans. As students of journalism, we organized a news reading competition in our college. We managed to get good entries, sponsors, logistics and everything was at its place. But on the day of the event the audience footfall by 20% as we had expected. We took responsibilities of not promoting it wel and learned lessons from it. We did not give up and tried again next year, we used active promotion strategies to create interest while making the event successful.
Q 20. Give me an example of your initiative?
Ans. As it is said that knowledge should be shared not hoarded, I created a Whatsapp group of my classmates to share new words, idioms, and phrases etc. Initially, I was the one who used to contribute gradually many of my classmates have started sharing and as a result we all are getting better every day.
