NCERT Questions – 2

Convert the following temperatures to the kelvin scale.

To convert a temperature from the Celsius (°C) scale to the Kelvin (K) scale, we use the formula:

Question (a)

Convert 25°C to Kelvin

Using the formula:

T(K)=25+273

So, 25°C = 298 K.

Question (b)

Convert 373°C to Kelvin

Using the formula:

T(K)=646K

So, 373°C = 646 K.
